Through the Sir John W. Cox Career Development Award, BTC offers $20,000 per annum for a maximum of four years to assist Bermudians in pursuing their educational dream abroad.

    While preference will be given to degrees in the fields of Telecommunications, IT and Electrical Engineering; applicants pursuing other business related degrees are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have already been accepted in the course of study they wish to pursue. BTC will attempt to identify suitable summer vacation employment for the recipient for vacation periods between subsequent years in which such a student receives a Scholarship. This is subject to work opportunities being available and the resourcing needs of BTC prevailing at the relevant time. However, BTC shall be under no obligation to provide the student with employment following graduation and the student shall be under no obligation to be employed by BTC following graduation.
