Description

The Institute of Bermuda Architects has established a fund enabling an annual award to be made to one or more Bermudian students who are enrolled in a programme leading to an accredited degree in architecture with preference being given 1) to candidates who have completed at least their first year of study in an accredited programme and 2) who demonstrate academic merit and greatest financial need.


The name of this award was changed to the Stanley G. Kennedy Architectural Award in 2004 in memory of Stanley G. Kennedy, an architect who devoted much of his life to advancing educational and professional standards in the architectural profession both in Bermuda and in Jamaica.

 
The Award is given at the sole discretion of the Education Committee as appointed by the Council of the I.B.A.
